Privacy Policy
keep! is built on one principle: your data belongs to you. This policy explains what we do — and what we don't — with your information.
1. Data stored locally only
Everything you enter into the app — your documents, health records, finances, plans, photos — is stored exclusively on your device in a local SQLite database. No server, no cloud, no sync.
2. We don't collect your data
We don't see your data and we can't see it. The app makes no network requests to our servers, because there are no servers for that purpose.
3. Encryption and protection
- Your PIN is stored as a hash in iOS Keychain.
- Access is guarded by Face ID or Touch ID in addition to your PIN.
- The app locks automatically when backgrounded — you must re-authenticate to come back.
4. Analytics and tracking
The app contains no analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry of any kind (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Sentry). We don't know how many people use it or how.
5. Backup and export
You can export a backup of your data at any time. The backup is saved to your device or iCloud Drive at your discretion — we don't get involved in that process.
6. Third-party access
None. The app doesn't share any data with any external party.
7. Permissions
- Photos: so you can attach document images and personal photos.
- Camera: to capture document photos (optional).
- Face ID / Touch ID: to authenticate you when opening the app.
All permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked in iOS Settings at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
